The English learning journey of Grade X students this semester has been filled with creativity, collaboration, and confidence-building activities. Through various engaging lessons and projects, students have improved their ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing.
Throughout the semester, students explored the four essential language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Learning activities were conducted not only inside the classroom but also through outdoor activities, discussions, presentations, and group projects that encouraged active participation and teamwork.
One of the most exciting parts of the program was learning different text types, including reports, narratives, announcements, and advertisements. Students practiced analyzing language features, developing ideas, and expressing their thoughts creatively in English. Teachers also prepared interactive learning modules and fun classroom activities to make English learning more enjoyable and meaningful.
Beyond improving language skills, the program helped students become more confident in expressing themselves. Many students who were initially shy became more active in discussions, presentations, and collaborative tasks with their classmates.
The highlight of the semester is the final project: creating and displaying information in the school magazine. In this project, students work together as writers, editors, designers, and reporters to produce attractive and informative content in English. The school magazine features news articles, short stories, advertisements, announcements, and creative writing produced by the students themselves.
This project not only showcases studentsβ English abilities but also strengthens their creativity, responsibility, and teamwork. Through the English Journey program, Grade X students have shown that learning English can be fun, inspiring, and full of meaningful experiences.
